Mendota Mantels makes one-of-a-kind custom fireplace mantels. Each mantel has been hand sculpted from reclaimed timbers and reclaimed beams that were salvaged from old barns, mills, and warehouses, circa mid 1800’s to early 1900’s.
These antique wood beam timbers are then hand carved and become beautiful mantel shelves for your home, restaurant, lodge, log home, restaurant, or business.
Your Mendota Mantel comes with a documented historical provenance of the facinating history about the material your mantel is made from.

We specialize in reclaimed wood mantels made from recycled or reclaimed old barn beams, salvaged logs, hand-hewn wood, and lumber or timbers of white pine, Douglas fir, and various hardwoods.
All of our mantels, whether reclaimed wood mantel shelves, log mantels, or mantel surrounds, present especially well when accompanied with fireplace stone or cultured stone in both contemporary and traditional settings.
